Plentiful Kitchen is a small meal delivery service based in the Bay Area. We cook organic, gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free meals for people who are intentional about what they put in their bodies. Every dish that leaves our kitchen is made from scratch with clean ingredients and genuine attention to detail.
We are looking for a skilled production chef who finds deep satisfaction in doing precise, beautiful work in a calm and focused environment. This is not a high pressure restaurant. It is a place where consistency matters, where recipes are followed with exactness, and where the person next to you is someone you can count on.
About the role
You will work Sunday through Tuesday, approximately 20 to 25 hours per week, in our commercial kitchen in West Berkeley. You will execute high volume prep and production, take ownership of your station, and help ensure that every meal leaving our kitchen looks and tastes exactly as it should. Experience with gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free cooking is essential.
This is a part time position starting at $27 per hour.
What we are looking for
At least four years of professional kitchen experience in production, catering, or high volume cooking. You are comfortable working independently, you hold yourself to a high standard without being told to, and you hold a valid California food handler card or ServSafe certification.
