We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract assignment in Valentine, NE. This is a day-shift opportunity with flexible scheduling options and an ASAP start.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to patients across various age groups and conditions.
- Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and therapies as ordered.
- Monitor patients’ respiratory status and respond appropriately to changes.
- Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment.
- Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and other respiratory treatments.
- Assist with emergency respiratory care and patient stabilization when needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Active Nebraska Respiratory Care license
- BLS certification
