Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. Responsibilities
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans, using the Creative Curriculm. Lesson plans will promote early literacy, social skills, physical activity, and emotional well-being for toddlers.
- Lead classroom activities that support child development milestones, including language acquisition, motor skills, and social-emotional growth
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships in child welfare
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress and incidents
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides, providing guidance on curriculum delivery and classroom management
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards such as first aid and CPR certifications
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings, including daycare or preschool environments
- Demonstrated expertise in toddler care, childhood development instruction, and curriculum development tailored to young children
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques for toddlers
- Experience with classroom management, lesson planning, and parent communication
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage families in their child's learning journey
- Valid certifications in first aid and CPR; additional credentials in early childhood education like an infant/toddler CDA.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
