We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors.
This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in preventing incidents and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
*Duties*
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary and assist in investigations.
- Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism and composure.
- Provide first aid or CPR assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
A military background or relevant certification can be advantageous.
