Responsibilities
- Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and grooming tailored to each client's preferences.
- Perform advanced hair styling techniques such as blowouts, updos, and special occasion styles.
- Apply hair coloring and hair extension techniques using industry best practices.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations.
- Use salon management software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage retail sales efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items, styling tools, and nail care products to enhance client experience and increase revenue.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license issued by the state or relevant licensing authority.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on barbering or men's grooming.
- Strong knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management.
- Expertise in haircutting techniques including straight razor shaves and traditional barbering skills.
- Proficiency in hair coloring, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for client consultation and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute positively to store management efforts.

Pay: $40.00 - $64.00 per hour
