Production Floater
Full-Time, Regular · Production Department
We're looking for a hands-on Production Floater to help keep parts moving smoothly through our processes. You'll be a flexible, go-where-you're-needed part of the team — building assemblies, deburring parts, and staying tuned in to what production needs most on any given day.
What you'll do:
- Assemble parts and subassemblies for closures, guides, and both small and large valve assembly, using hand and small power tools
- Deburr machined parts, then wash, rinse, and dry them, and move finished product to the next work center
- Build pump flanges and support products like ball valves and isolation couplings
- Inspect components for proper fit and finish, and report any deviations to your supervisor
- Help with TIG welding of subassemblies for valve production
- Enter completed parts accurately into our inventory system (tablet or computer)
- Keep an eye on priorities, follow the production schedule, and keep tools and work areas clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and flag any safety concerns
What we're looking for:
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity with tools
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly setting (preferred, but not required)
- Quick to learn part names, numbers, and assembly procedures
- Reliable and punctual, with a real commitment to quality
- Accurate, detail-oriented, flexible, and comfortable working independently
- Able to follow written and verbal direction and work well with others
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs (large valve) or 50 lbs (small valve), push carts up to 1,500 lbs, and work on your feet for extended periods
Sound like a good fit? We'd love to hear from you.
