About the role:
Are you an enterprise delivery leader who loves solving complex architecture problems and leading from the front?
At Darwinbox, we are looking for an Implementation Head (Project Director) to steer a high-impact portfolio of enterprise HCM implementations.
This is not a high-level coordination role. We want a practitioner-leader, someone ready to get hands-on with our product, clear certifications in the first 30 days, lead C-suite steering committees, and drive high operational and commercial rigor across our delivery pods.
All professionals joining our HCM implementation team are expected to clear the product certification (including a proctored assessment) in their first month of joining.
What you’ll do:
- Lead from the Front (Project Director): Direct a portfolio of projects, leading critical solution design, architecture reviews, and executive steering committees.
- Master the Product (Month 1 Mandate): Deep dive into Darwinbox platform modules and clear mandatory product certifications within your first 30 days.
- Pre-Sales & Commercial Rigor: Partner with Sales/Pre-Sales on deal solutioning, prepare Statement of Work (SoW), baseline project plans against our Estimation Modeller.
- Predictive Governance & On-Time Go-Lives: Maintain early-warning risk predictability to protect project timelines, manage formal scope control, enforce milestone signoffs, go-live checklists, and closure reports.
- Build High-Performance Teams: Build and manage a high-performance team of Engagement Managers and functional consultants for superior project delivery.
- Drive Advocacy: Partner with clients to turn successful rollouts into public case studies, high NPS scores, and referenceable accounts.
What are we looking for?
- 12–18+ years of total experience, with proven success leading enterprise or mid-market HCM SaaS implementations in a Project Director / Delivery Head capacity. Must understand the breadth of HCM modules to be able to lead customer discussions.
- Hands-on mindset: A genuine passion for deep diving into product architecture, clearing functional certifications, and guiding consultants on complex customer workflows.
- Commercial & governance discipline: Strong background in effort estimation models, baseline vs. actual hour tracking, and formal scope/CR governance.
- Tool fluency: Working experience with modern delivery ecosystems and data migration automation tools.
- Executive presence: Proven track record of managing senior customer stakeholders, enterprise escalation management, and fostering cross-functional alignment.
