Front Desk Attendant / Concierge – Part-Time Overnight (Luxury Condominium Building Downtown Minneapolis)
A premier residential condominium in downtown Minneapolis is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Attendant / Concierge to join our team. This highly visible, resident-facing role plays a critical part in maintaining the security, professionalism, and exceptional service standards our community expects.
We are seeking a polished, dependable, detail-oriented, and service-driven individual with strong hospitality or customer service experience and the confidence to manage front desk operations in a luxury residential environment.
Position Details
Part-Time Overnight Shift
Friday & Saturday nights, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (16 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
Resident & Guest Services
- Welcome residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries with professionalism and warmth
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive first impression
- Assist residents with requests, questions, and day-to-day support
Building Security
- Monitor cameras, security systems, and access control systems
- Manage visitor access and package security
- Conduct routine property inspections to ensure resident safety and building security
Communication & Coordination
- Serve as a liaison between residents, management, maintenance staff, and service providers
- Maintain clear and accurate communication regarding building activity and resident concerns
- Document and report important incidents promptly and professionally
Front Desk Operations
- Manage package deliveries, logs, and resident notifications
- Maintain accurate shift reports, incident logs, and front desk records
- Follow all emergency procedures, building policies, and safety protocols
Professional Standards
- Maintain excellent appearance, reliability, confidentiality, and discretion at all times
- Represent the condominium with professionalism and strong attention to detail
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality, concierge services, luxury residential buildings, hotels, or similar customer-facing roles
Service Mindset
- Friendly, polished, proactive, and committed to delivering a high-level resident experience
Communication Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure
Technology Skills
- Comfortable using front desk systems, building management software, email, and digital communication platforms
Local Knowledge
- Familiarity with Minneapolis and surrounding areas is helpful
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
