As a charitable pediatric clinic, we provide high-quality medical and mental health services at no cost to uninsured children and their families throughout Central Texas. We're looking for a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team. What You'll Do
As part of our clinical team, you will:
- Provide preventive care, including well-child exams and developmental screenings
- Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and injuries
- Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Educate and empower patients and their families on health, wellness, and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health providers, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
- Document patient care accurately and monitor patient progress
- Evaluate families for social determinants of health needs and assist with community resources
Qualifications
We're seeking candidates who have:
- At least 3 years of experience in pediatric primary care
- An active, unencumbered Texas Advanced Practice license with prescribing authority
- A commitment to providing culturally sensitive, compassionate, evidence-based care
Preferred Qualifications:
- Spanish language proficiency
- Experience caring for uninsured or underserved pediatric populations
