CNA Responsibilities
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct resident care while promoting comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Key Duties Include:
Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene
Assist residents with meals, feeding, and hydration as needed
Transport residents safely using wheelchairs and mobility equipment
Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility support
Turn and reposition residents to promote comfort and prevent skin breakdown
Obtain and record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other resident information
Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
Qualifications
Required:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in the State of Montana
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare setting
Preferred:
Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living, memory care, senior care, or healthcare environments
Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care practices
