Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical practice.
- Manage scheduling, patient flow, and clinic efficiency.
- Supervise, train, coach, and develop the front office team.
- Ensure insurance verification, benefit verification, prior authorizations, patient estimates, and revenue cycle workflows are completed accurately and timely.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), provider productivity, patient access, and operational performance.
- Assist with billing, collections, payroll coordination, PTO tracking, and staff accountability.
- Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and office workflows.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with providers and leadership to improve patient satisfaction, increase efficiency, and support continued practice growth.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of Medical Practice Management or Healthcare Administration experience.
- Experience managing a busy multi-provider medical office.
- Strong knowledge of medical office operations, insurance verification, prior authorizations, scheduling, billing, collections, and revenue cycle management.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team, make decisions, improve processes, and hold staff accountable.
- ENT, Audiology, Neurology, Physical Therapy, or other specialty practice experience is preferred.
