As a Welder/Fabricator you will be responsible for putting together one set of components or working on the finished product.

Fit and weld assemblies per job instructions and drawings.

Perform code (ASME, AWS or API) compliant welds using GMAW, GTAWFCAW processes.

Perform joint preparation per drawingscode specifications.
-
Properly use fabrication shop hand tools. (grinders, drills, air tools, etc.)

Operate forklifts.
-
Operate vertical/horizontal band saws.
-
Rig, hoist/liftmove materials.
-
Maintain safe and clean work environment.

Must be able to prep, set up, fit, and weld GMAW, FCAW 2G, 3G4G weld testGTAW 6G weld test.

Positive "can do" attitudestrong work ethic.

Ability to take detailed instructions.

Willing to be challenged to improve welding skills to meet high quality standards.

Must be able to readunderstand weld symbols, weld procedures, mechanical and structural drawings.

Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safe work practices.

Must be able to use Oxy/fuelPlasma hand cutting torch.

Daily housekeeping of shop and/or work area.

Flexible working schedule to support project needs.

ASME pipe welding experience.

Fit-uplayout experience on structural/misc. steel and pipe spools.
-
GTAW welding in 6G position.
