Desired Qualifications:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered
- New Jersey state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations in schools or clinical settings
- Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs and goals for students with diverse communication needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy for students as outlined in their IEPs during the ESY session
- Conduct assessments and update progress reports as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Adjust therapy techniques to meet individual student needs and respond to new challenges
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
