Our client is currently seeking a
Business Development Manager – Functional Protein Ingredients (National Remote)
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for functional and nutritional protein ingredients in the food, beverage, and nutrition sectors.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from initial prospecting through to commercialization and ongoing account expansion.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in food/nutritional ingredients, with a focus on proteins or dairy-derived ingredients strongly preferred.
- Solid working knowledge of protein functionality, applications, and their use in food and beverage formulations.
- Proven track record of winning new business and growing accounts through a consultative, solutions-oriented sales approach.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred.
