Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Chemical Dependency Counselor, you will empower patients to recognize and address at-risk substance use patterns, facilitating their journey toward improved well-being.
Every day you will perform comprehensive clinical screenings using tools like SBIRT, AUDIT-C, and Plus 2, to identify risky substance use. You will be expected to assess individuals across the continuum of substance use disorders (mild, moderate, and severe) and facilitate appropriate interventions or referrals to treatment.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong empathy for diverse populations and a collaborative spirit for working within an interdisciplinary clinical team.
Job Requirements
Required

Current CA Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

Current Healthcare provider BLS Card.
Preferred

A minimum of one (1) year's experience in a Psychiatric/Chemical Dependency setting is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in an Allied Health Field such as Psychology, Counseling, Social Work.

$34.00 - $50.58 /hour
