As we grow our surgical and procedural services, we are building a reliable and detail-oriented Central Supply team to ensure safe and efficient instrument processing and supply management.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Central Supply Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, and distributing surgical instruments and equipment. The technician will help maintain inventory, uphold infection control standards, and play a key role in supporting safe and timely surgical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment following best practices and facility protocols
- Assemble and wrap instrument trays for surgical and endoscopic procedures
- Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment safely and effectively
- Monitor sterilization cycles, log data, and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping
- Check and restock case carts, ORs, and supply areas with sterile supplies and instruments
- Perform routine inventory checks and help manage stock levels of sterile goods and surgical supplies
- Inspect instruments for functionality and cleanliness, identifying items in need of repair or replacement
- Adhere to all infection control, OSHA, and accreditation standards (e.g., AAMI, AORN)
- Collaborate with OR, endoscopy, and administrative staff to ensure timely instrument availability
- Support onboarding and training of new staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CBSPD or CRCST) required
- BLS required
- Prior experience in a sterile processing or central supply role, ideally in a surgical setting
- Familiarity with autoclaves, ultrasonic washers, and other reprocessing equipment
- Strong understanding of sterilization methods, infection control, and instrument care
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible with scheduling; may include early hours or occasional weekend shifts

Compensation: $25-$32 per hour (depending on experience and certification)
