Job Overview
In this temporary job assignment, you will actively participate in various on-site tasks, ensuring that construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. We are looking to hire a few individuals to assist in our construction site for approximately 4 weeks. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict safety regulations.
Duties
- Operate power tools and manual handling equipment safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, or assembling materials.
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of construction materials in accordance with safety standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety standards and construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Climb ladders, scaffolding, or other structures as needed to access work areas at various heights.
- Implement respiratory protection measures and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure health and safety compliance.
- Support the installation of construction components, including framing, roofing, or finishing work, under supervision.
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in manual labor roles is mandatory
- Familiarity with mechanical systems or construction workplace safety regulations is a plus.
- Ability to handle power tools safely and effectively, demonstrating good manual handling techniques.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, climbing, and extended periods of manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 lbs
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
