Staff Pharmacist Responsibilities & Duties
- Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
- Review and interpret physician orders for medications.
- Provide medication therapy management and monitor patient outcomes.
- Offer consultations and answer questions from patients regarding their medications.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Manage inventory and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Maintain patient records and document all pharmaceutical interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Provide medication information and education to healthcare staff.
- Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and interns.
- Compounding Experience Preferred
