Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and precision
- Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage table settings, clear dishes, and assist with bussing to ensure a clean and inviting environment
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain thorough knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience working in fine dining environments or nightclubs is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Knowledge of food preparation, food industry standards, and sanitation practices is essential
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining quality service
- OpenTable experience or similar reservation management tools is beneficial
- Basic math skills for cashiering, food costing, and handling transactions accurately
