We are a small family owned Cafe & Italian Bakery looking for a reliable, responsible, friendly person to join our team. Must be available for weekend shifts, must be willing to pick up shifts when needed and have great people skills. Experience using a commercial espresso machine necessary and any other barista knowledge a plus. Position available asap. Hourly begins at $16 plus cash tips at the end of every shift. :)

Summary
As a Barista and Cashier, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and crafting high-quality coffee beverages. Reporting to the Café Manager, you will utilize your expertise in POS systems and coffee preparation to efficiently process transactions and ensure customer satisfaction. Your core skills in food safety and serving will help maintain a clean and welcoming environment. With additional premium skills in time management and sales, you will contribute to the café's success by promoting menu items and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks in accordance with company recipes and standards
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Uphold food safety standards while handling and preparing food items
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on coffee blends and menu items to customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Assist in restocking inventory and supplies as needed
