Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, trimming, and installation projects
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting components to ensure proper watering schedules
- Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote growth and safety
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping equipment and hand tools
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is valued
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques including tree care, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and horticulture principles
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Strong attention to detail with excellent physical stamina for manual labor tasks such as mowing, snow plowing or tree trimming
- Knowledge of construction practices related to landscaping projects is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred for equipment operation and site visits
