Growing fabrication shop in Inkster, MI is looking to add a Machine Operator to their team!
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and changeovers on various types of machinery and equipment.
- Utilize measuring tools to mark and cut steel precisely.
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Operating machinery such as saws, brake presses, sheers, and drill presses.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a machine operator in an industrial steel facility or similar.
- Strong knowledge and 2-3 years’ experience using a band saw and press brake.
- Familiarity with measuring tools and ability to read a measuring tape to 1/16” is required.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards.
Shift Hours are 6am-2:30pm with potential for overtime as needed.
