McKenzie Creative Brands is looking for a 2nd shift maintenance technician capable of performing general PM's on machinery such as forklifts, chillers, motors, pumps, air compressors and HVAC units. The position will also entail minor repairs and troubleshooting machinery that may fail during the 2nd shift. Travel will be required between Albemarle and Salisbury, North Carolina. The two plants are located about 30 minutes apart but perform similar operations requiring PM's that align between both facilities.
Requirements: Applicant must be fluent in English and clear in communication. Prior experience is not needed but will be beneficial. Individual must be self-motivated and able to work on their own with only minor help from plant leads. Tasks will be approximately 80% preventive maintenance and 20% troubleshooting/reactive maintenance. Applicant must demonstrate the ability to work safely and lift up to 50 pounds. A valid driver's license is required as well as an established and dependable mode of transportation. Once employed the technician will need to be available to train on 1st shift (7am to 3pm) for up to 1 month. Once the training period is complete the hours will become 2pm to 10pm.
