Now Hiring: Deli Cook – Pasti Bella Deli
Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen and creating great food? Pasti Bella Deli is looking for a friendly, dependable Deli Cook to join our team!
We're looking for someone who has some cooking experience and knows their way around a kitchen. Experience working as a fast-order deli or line cook is a big plus, but we're happy to train the right person with a great attitude.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Preparing breakfast and lunch orders
- Cooking breakfast sandwiches, burgers, cheesesteaks, and other grill items
- Building fresh cold sandwiches and wraps
- Slicing deli meats and cheeses
- Baking cookies and other bakery items
- Keeping a clean, organized kitchen
- Providing friendly, personable service to every customer
Summer is typically our slower season, making it the perfect time to get trained before business picks up. With Arts Fest and the busy fall semester just around the corner, we'll be ready to hit the ground running! Our busiest times are breakfast and lunch, serving a loyal base of regular customers along with plenty of new faces.
What We're Looking For:
- Some kitchen or cooking experience
- Fast-order deli or line cook experience is a plus
- Friendly, positive attitude and excellent customer service
- Showing up to work on time.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and a team player
Pay & Benefits:
- Starting wage: $11–$14/hour, based on experience
- Plus tips! Our team typically earns an additional $2–$3 per hour in tips, bringing average hourly earnings to $13–$17/hour.
