American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery / OB Inpatient position in Urbana, IL, requiring an IL RN license and a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience on a night shift schedule.

Inpatient OB Services unit within a hospital setting
-
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week (3x12s)
-
Minimum of 2 Fridays and 2 Mondays required per 6-week schedule period
-
5 weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) required per 6-week period
-
Holiday shifts required for schedule balancing

Epic EMR — experience required
-
No floating requirements
-
Active IL RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Current NRP certification (American Heart Association)

Minimum 3 years of relevant RN experience

Epic EMR charting experience required

Level 1 Trauma experience required

ASN required; BSN preferred

Proficiency in medication administration, EMR documentation, patient care procedures, and safety reporting

Provide comprehensive nursing care to OB/inpatient patients, including patient assessments, infant care, medication administration, and EMR documentation

Develop and modify individualized plans of care based on patient and family needs in accordance with unit standards

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract

Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the health system
