Duties
- Assist with the installation of cabinets, doors, trim, paneling, and other woodwork components according to construction plans and technical drawings
- Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking safely and effectively during installation tasks
- Read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings to ensure accurate placement and alignment of fixtures
- Perform heavy lifting of cabinetry and materials while maintaining proper safety protocols
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; adhere to power tool safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cabinet making and installation, blueprint reading, or residential carpentry is highly desirable
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, and routers; familiarity with power tools for woodworking is essential
- Knowledge of wood construction materials including cabinetry components, plywood and veneers, and finishing
- Experience with woodworking machines and woodshop equipment is a plus
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working on construction sites for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail for precise cabinet installation and door hanging tasks
- Commitment to safety practices including power tool safety protocols
