Responsible for answering Multi-Line Telephone system, scheduling and attending correct patient, assignment of patient to appropriate provider and type of visit, verifies and updates patient data and, collects co-pay and/ or balance due, balancing, opening and closing of cash drawer daily, faxing, filing, scanning, sorting mail. MUST provide excellent customer service at all times.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Advanced clerical training preferred
Experience
Preferred: Basic working knowledge of computers, excellent customer service with good verbal and written communication skills, 2 years medical office experience, knowledge of insurance regulations, collections, Medical terminology
