American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic position requiring at least 3 years of oncology experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic setting in a fast-paced environment

Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (8:00–16:30)

13-week contract

Local candidates are accepted

Active WI or compact RN license required (pending licenses accepted)

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 3 years of oncology nursing experience required

Outpatient clinic experience strongly preferred given the role's scope

Responsibilities include triaging patient phone calls and responding to MyChart messages
-
Enters physician orders including labs and diagnostics, and follows up on treatment plans
-
Coordinates diagnostics, genetic testing arrangements, and patient care planning
-
Provides patient education including chemotherapy talks

Collaborates closely with Infusion and Radiation teams as well as physicians and APPs

Tracks INR patients with labs and medications, and follows iron infusion patients
-
All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
