Assistant Bakery Manager

Job Summary:
The bakery manager oversee all bakery operations and production schedules.. The bakery manager is responsible for overseeing and being able to bake, plan and be able to lead all staff confidently and effectively. The bakery manager should exemplify the core values of Emporium Pies and our parent company, The Parvin Group.
Daily Tasks and Projects:
- Bake and produce all pies, pastries, and products for Emporium shops, wholesale and catering orders.
- Execute planning strategies and initiatives in line with sales metrics
- Fulfill orders in a timely manner and maintain an accurate inventory process
- Enforce company standards, processes, and procedures
- Conduct the interviewing, hiring and promotions process along with full training for all bakery employees
- Maintain employee availability and proper scheduling to align with targeted labor goals
- Handle conflict resolution effectively
- Quality control on all products, processes, and order fulfillment.
- Communicate important information to leadership and staff within a timely manner
Job Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to work minimum 40 hours per week at assigned shop or in shop’s market
- Must participate in at least one management meeting per week along with leading assistant bakery managers, fulfillment manager, and delivery manager in weekly planning meetings.
- Excellent customer service skills, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must have reliable transportation
Required Education, Certification, or Experience:
- Bakery or production experiance
- Previous experience in leading a team
- Texas Food Manager Certification (within 30 days)
Compensation and Benefits:
- $20-$22, based on experience
- Opportunity to participate in company benefits (health, dental, vision, etc.)
- Reports to: Bakery Production Manager

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
