Overnight Postpartum Support Needed – Triplets (Northridge, CA)
A loving family in Northridge, California is urgently seeking an experienced Postpartum Doula / Newborn Care Specialist for overnight support of their newborn triplets.
This is a high-touch, high-skill role best suited for a professional who is confident working independently with multiples and providing calm, structured overnight newborn care.
We are looking to hire ASAP.
Schedule (Overnight Shift)
- Monday – Friday: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Saturday – Sunday: 8:00 PM – 10:00 AM
- 2-month guaranteed contract with possible extension
Responsibilities
- Provide full overnight care for newborn triplets
- Manage feeding schedules (bottle feeding / breastmilk support as needed)
- Diapering, burping, soothing, and resettling infants throughout the night
- Ensure safe sleep practices are consistently followed
- Monitor newborns’ comfort, sleep patterns, and wellbeing
- Maintain a calm, quiet, and organized overnight environment
- Support parents with updates and reassurance as needed
- Help establish healthy newborn sleep foundations
Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a highly experienced, calm, and confident professional who thrives in newborn-intensive environments.
- Extensive experience as a Newborn Care Specialist / Postpartum Doula
- Mandatory experience with twins and/or multiples (triplets strongly preferred)
- Able to independently manage multiple newborns overnight
- Calm, nurturing, and highly reliable under pressure
- Strong communication and professional bedside manner
Requirements
- Infant CPR & First Aid certification (current)
- Fully vaccinated (TDAP, TB, COVID + boosters, Flu)
- Strong newborn sleep and feeding knowledg
Compensation
- $60+ per hour (DOE – depending on experience)
- Guaranteed overnight hours
