Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize operational disruptions.
- Repair and install appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site maintenance tasks or equipment transportation as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical drawings to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects such as construction or renovation initiatives involving mechanical systems repair or upgrades.
Skills
- Extensive experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems repair, refrigeration maintenance, and kitchen equipment servicing.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems efficiently.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams for accurate diagnostics.
- Demonstrated expertise in HVAC system repair including air conditioning units and air handling systems.
- Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices across diverse mechanical environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership qualities that foster teamwork while managing multiple maintenance projects simultaneously.
