Position Highlights-
Full-time schedule with flexible shift options (day, evening, nights)

10 and 12-hour shifts with predictable scheduling

Responsibilities-
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the emergency department

Perform medical screening exams and manage a wide range of acute conditions
-
Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic testing
-
Perform procedures within scope (e.g., suturing, splinting, abscess drainage)
-
Collaborate with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary teams
-
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
-
Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications-
Nurse practitioner (FNP, ACNP) or physician assistant (PA-C)
-
Board certified (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
-
Active New York license (or ability to obtain)
-
EM, urgent care, or acute care experience preferred
-
ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
-
Strong clinical decision-making and ability to manage patients independently
Preferred Experience-
Prior ED experience

Comfort with moderate acuity and procedures

Ability to work efficiently in a team-based, high-volume environment
