Responsibilities

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and food processors
- Prepare food items with precision using proper slicing techniques, cooking methods, and food handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by cleaning utensils, appliances and workstations
- Support food safety management practices by adhering to safety standards during production and service
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service
Skills
- Strong background in food service or restaurant environments with familiarity in food industry best practices
- Excellent knife skills and slicing techniques essential for efficient prep work
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in meal presentation
- Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with kitchen staff and other team members
