Duties
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, or freight across designated routes.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems, adjusting plans as needed to meet delivery schedules.
- Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and other safety protocols during all operations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on dump trucks.
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards related to truck driving.
- Ability to operate GPS navigation systems confidently for route planning and adjustments.
- Experience with load & unload procedures
