Experienced CNC Router Operator – Sign Industry

Vintage Sign & Light is seeking an experienced CNC Router Operator with a strong background in the architectural and commercial sign industry. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works independently, and understands that precision matters.
This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who has hands-on experience producing high-quality sign components from start to finish.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years operating CNC routers in the sign industry
- Extensive experience routing HDU (High Density Urethane) signs
- Experience routing:
- Aluminum Composite Material (ACM)
- PVC
- Acrylic
- Polycarbonate
- Aluminum
- Wood and other sign substrates
- Ability to read shop drawings and production files
- Experience setting up jobs, selecting tooling, and optimizing material usage
- Machine setup, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Skills (Highly Desired)
- MIG and TIG welding
- Metal fabrication
- Sign assembly
- Vinyl application
- Channel letter fabrication
- Painting and finishing
- Electrical sign experience
- Forklift operation
- Installation experience
