Job Summary:
Accurate is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Laser Tracker Operator to support precision measurement and alignment activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using laser tracking systems to inspect, align, and verify large-scale components and assemblies in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate laser tracker systems (e.g., FARO, Leica, API) for precision measurement and 3D metrology applications.
- Perform on-site measurements and alignments of tools, jigs, fixtures, and components.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements.
- Analyze measurement data and prepare comprehensive inspection reports.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain calibration, cleanliness, and proper functioning of laser tracker equipment.
- Troubleshoot measurement discrepancies and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all metrology operations are conducted in accordance with safety and company protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience with laser tracking systems in an Aerospace environment
- Proficiency in metrology software Verisurf minimum of 3 years.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles and blueprint reading.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft , Excel and Adobe.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or heavy manufacturing.
- Knowledge of CNC machine alignment and tool calibration.
- Certifications in metrology or quality systems (e.g., ASQ, CMS).

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
