1. Overseeing all aspects of real estate transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, and due diligence materials.
2. Advising clients on a broad range of real estate matters, including property management, zoning, land use, and environmental issues.
3. Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective legal strategies that achieve clients' business objectives while managing legal risks.
4. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with timely and practical legal advice.
5. Staying abreast of developments in real estate law and business trends, and using this knowledge to proactively advise clients.
6. Contributing to the firm's business development efforts, including participating in client pitches, speaking engagements, and writing articles for publication.
Qualifications
1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, with a focus on real estate law.
4. Proven experience in real estate transactions, with a particular emphasis on commercial leasing.
5. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively resolve complex legal issues.
6. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
7. A client-focused approach, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
8. A high degree of professionalism and a strong work ethic.
9. The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently.
10. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
