Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions about products, and provide excellent service to enhance their shopping experience
- Learn check out procedures and memorize produce prices
- Assist with the display, packaging, and inventory management of fresh produce and farm goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the farm stand retail and storage areas
- Follow food safety standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail preferred
- Knowledge of fresh local produce preferred
- Ability to count cash and coins to make change
- Comfortable engaging with customers and coworkers
- Basic food safety understanding preferred
- Ability to work on your feet for the entirety of a shift
- Ability to routinely lift 40 pounds
- Some weekend availability required
