Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Computer and Laptop Repair and Diagnostic Technician to join our innovative tech support team. Duties
- Diagnose hardware and software issues across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, Linux.
- Perform repairs on computer hardware components such as motherboards, hard drives, RAM, and peripherals using hand tools and soldering techniques.
- Troubleshoot software problems by analyzing error messages, reinstalling operating systems, updating drivers, and resolving conflicts.
- Conduct detailed analysis of device schematics to identify faulty components or connections during repairs.
- Utilize specialized equipment repair skills to replace or repair damaged parts on mobile devices and laptops.
- Provide technical support for customer inquiries related to device performance or hardware issues.
- Use analysis skills to determine root causes of malfunctions and recommend appropriate solutions for equipment repair or replacement.
- Document repair processes thoroughly in service logs while communicating clearly with customers about repair status or needed follow-up actions.
Experience
- Proven experience in computer hardware repair, diagnostics, or technical support roles involving mobile devices and laptops.
- Familiarity with multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, Linux.
- Hands-on experience with soldering techniques for electronic component repair is highly desirable.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret schematics and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of computer components such as motherboards, storage devices, RAM modules, and peripherals.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for device disassembly and assembly tasks.
