We are a group of Mobile Physicians & Providers that specializes in wound care and feeding tube management.
We are seeking an NP, PA Wound Care Providers to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.
We are currently looking to hire varied experience of PA, NP. For none to little wound care experience, and (NEW) Graduates you are welcome as the company will TRAIN the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients for the first visit
- Diagnose and treat acute, chronic and stage it.
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Communicate with Clinical coordinator, clinician regarding wound care
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EMR
- Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and other wound care procedures within scope of practice
- Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on wound progression
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, cultures) relevant to wound healing
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound care techniques, nutrition, and prevention strategies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and track healing outcomes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Wound care is plus but will train for no experience and new graduates
- Ability to build rapport with patients, family and facilities (if applicable)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The position involves traveling to/from the patient homes to evaluate, debride and treat wounds of various etiologies.
Compensation is calculated per patient.
