Silicone Extrusion Operator
Join Our Manufacturing Team!
We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Silicone Extrusion Operator to produce high-quality silicone tubing in a clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll set up and operate extrusion equipment, monitor product quality, and help drive continuous improvement while ensuring products meet customer and company standards.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate silicone extrusion equipment to produce quality products.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications.
- Operate equipment including roll mills, chillers, extruders, gear pumps, forklifts, scales, measuring tools, and other production equipment.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Inspect finished products, identify quality issues, and make necessary adjustments.
- Package, label, and move raw materials and finished goods using a forklift.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, communicating concerns to the supervisor.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all company and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating roll mills, extrusion machines, or similar manufacturing equipment.
- Clean room experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately record production data.
- Ability to multitask, work independently or as part of a team, and meet production goals.
- Good hand-eye coordination and strong communication skills.

Physical Requirements
- Safely work in a manufacturing environment.
- Stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Push work-in-process materials exceeding 25 lbs.
- Safely operate manufacturing equipment and become forklift certified.
- Use both hands to safely operate machinery.
