We offer both full-day and half-day ABA therapy programs in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Position Overview:
The Clinical Director is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of all clinical operations across multiple programs and service lines.
This executive leadership role requires a proactive, strategic thinker who can balance clinical supervision, administrative operations, compliance, crisis response, and organizational growth.
The position demands flexibility and availability to ensure the highest quality of care and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Oversight & Supervision
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of all clinical programs, including outpatient, inpatient, crisis, residential, telehealth, and community-based services.
- Provide direct supervision and mentorship to clinical staff, including licensed clinicians, case managers, interns, and support staff.
- Ensure consistent application of evidence-based and culturally competent practices across all service lines.
- Maintain a 2-3 regular caseload for escalated clinical cases, staff support, or program-specific demands.
Staff Development & Workforce Management
- Recruit, onboard, and retain a highly skilled, diverse clinical workforce.
- Conduct performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and corrective coaching plans.
- Oversee scheduling to ensure adequate coverage, including on-call rotations and peak periods.
- Facilitate weekly clinical supervision groups and one-on-one supervision in accordance with licensure standards.
Strategic Program Management
- Design, implement, and evaluate clinical programs aligned with organizational goals, community needs, and funding requirements.
- Expand service lines, partnerships, and referral pipelines to meet growth targets.
- Lead crisis stabilization and emergency response protocols as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership on new business development, including grants and contract opportunities.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Maintain full regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
- Oversee clinical audits, documentation quality checks, incident reporting, and corrective action plans.
- Monitor clinical documentation in the HR for accuracy, timeliness, and billing readiness.
- Participate in licensing inspections, funding source audits, and accreditation reviews.
Client Care Quality & Innovation
- Ensure delivery of client-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care.
- Monitor client outcomes, satisfaction, and engagement through data dashboards and quality improvement systems.
- Respond directly to escalated client concerns or grievances, ensuring best-practice resolution.
- Drive innovation in care delivery through new technology, service integration, and pilot programs.
Leadership & Administration
- Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to high-level decision-making, budgeting, and strategy.
- Attend all leadership meetings, board presentations, and cross-departmental planning sessions.
- Lead cross-functional task forces on clinical operations or health equity goals.
- Develop policies, procedures, and training programs for clinical practice and ethics.
Availability & Responsiveness
- Maintain flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary to respond to clinical needs, crises, audits, or time-sensitive deadlines.
- Serve as on-call clinical lead during emergencies or high-risk incidents.
- Actively monitor and respond to clinical staff concerns, client crises, or external stakeholder needs outside of standard hours when required.
- Remote Work allowed 2 days a week
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred)
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in ABA, including supervisory responsibilities
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop clinical staff
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and family-centered care
