Description:
Do you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and making a visible difference every day? This position could be for you! We are looking for a dependable, hands-on groundskeeper who takes pride in keeping our communities clean, safe, and welcoming. This is a full-time position at Wilshire Apartments.
Groundskeeper duties include, but are not limited to:

Daily removal of litter and trash from the community grounds

Distribute notices and flyers as needed

Report safety issues and property damage
-
Assist with snow removal and application of ice melt
-
Perform light checks for building exteriors, hallways, and common areas
-
Assist with quarterly preventative maintenance checks
-
Assist with make ready type repairs in vacant apartments
-
Assist with moving large appliances on the property
-
Water flowers and trees that aren’t covered by sprinklers

Requirements:
- Experience working on pools is preferred, but not required
-
Ability to use iPad or smartphone is required
-
Ability to meet physical demands including constant walking, standing, climbing stairs/ladders and lifting up to 50lbs on a frequent basis.

Time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work

Successfully complete background and drug screening

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is required
Compensation is based on experience.
