Summary
As a Cook at Ole's Big Game Steakhouse, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, responsible for preparing delicious meals that delight our guests. This role is essential in maintaining our reputation for exceptional food quality and service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Support catering events as required by the restaurant.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for preparing high-quality dishes.
- Experience in menu planning and food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
