Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or manual methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies to support the kitchen staff.
- Support catering and banquet operations by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold a hygienic environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods and special events.
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued.
- Experience with bussing tables or supporting catering operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and cleaning protocols is advantageous.
- Previous work in hotel or banquet settings can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
