Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team. You will provide essential care to our client in the comfort of her home, ensuring his safety, well-being, and dignity. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact while working independently in a one-on-one setting.
SHIFTS
LIVE-IN: SATURDAY MORNING 9AM- MONDAY MORNING 9AM
Duties
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare and cook healthy meals.
- Drive client to appointments as needed.
- Grocery shop for client.
- Encourage and engage client in daily activities to remain active.
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Support with light housekeeping (tidying, laundry, etc.).
- Provide medication reminders and support with daily medication management.
- Monitor and report any changes in client’s condition to the care manager or supervisor.
- Document care and activities accurately in accordance with agency guidelines.
Qualifications
- Female caregiver (client preference)
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or Home Health Aid (HHA).
- In-home healthcare care experience required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass agency background checks. Background screening will be conducted through: https://info.flclearinghouse.com
- Independent contractors must carry Professional Liability and Auto Insurance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused.
- Fluent in English and Spanish
