Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and attention to dogs in our facility.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kennel areas and play spaces.
- Feed animals as directed.
- Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to Shift Lead.
- Assist with grooming and bathing as needed.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed to protect both animals and staff.
- Engage with Shift Lead to provide updates and answer questions.
- Support team members in daily operations and special events.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in animal care or kennel operations preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with various dog breeds.
- Physical stamina to lift and handle animals of different sizes.
- Willingness to train in basic knowledge of animal behavior and health indicators.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Certifications in pet first aid or grooming a plus.
