Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments, prepares items for shipment, and performs industrial hose assembly and fabrication tasks. This is a full-time position, M – F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- Review and prioritize daily shipping orders when received.

Pull all parts as indicated on the shipping orders, assemble and prepare components as necessary.

Perform industrial hose assembly and fabrication, including cutting, crimping, and testing hoses to meet specifications.

Inspect and test assembled hoses for quality assurance, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer requirements.

Properly label and package assembled hoses and other products for shipment.

Load and unload trucks as necessary. Inspect containers and materials, reporting any damage or missing items.

Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

Determine the appropriate method of shipment.

Affix shipping labels on packed boxes.

Assemble cardboard containers or select pre-assembled containers.

Insert items into containers and bind containers with appropriate tape.

Unpack and examine incoming shipments, record damaged items, document shortages, and correspond with shippers to rectify discrepancies.

Route items to the appropriate location.

Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications.

Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

Operate a forklift to move, convey, or hoist shipments from the shipping and receiving platform.

- High school diploma or GED; and 6 months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in industrial hose assembly and fabrication preferred.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Commerce Center.

Willing to become forklift certified.

Willing to complete Hazard Communication training.

Must have excellent attention to detail.

Must have access to reliable transportation.
