The CDL Driver – Local Delivery is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to customers within the local area. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. The driver will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies

Operate company-owned vehicles (Class A) to deliver products to customer locations within the designated local area.

Load and unload products using appropriate equipment (pallet jack, forklift, or by hand as needed).

Verify delivery orders, obtain customer signatures, and maintain accurate delivery records.

Inspect vehicles daily to ensure safe operating condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.

Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.

Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all customers and coworkers.

Assist with warehouse or yard duties as needed when not on delivery routes.

Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely service.

Report delays, accidents, or other delivery issues to management promptly.
Qualifications:

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.

Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.

Must pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and DOT physical.

Knowledge of local and regional roadways.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
