Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive start to their day
- Handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food and beverages following food safety standards and café protocols
- Manage cash handling duties with precision, including cash register operation and balancing tills
- Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks to maintain quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Support team members during busy morning hours by efficiently serving customers and managing multiple tasks
Skills
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong background in retail sales transactions, cashiering, and cash handling
- Previous café or food service experience, including barista skills or food preparation knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment during busy morning shifts
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
- Experience in serving or food industry roles that require attention to detail and efficiency
